HAW-ForschungsAkzente: Outline selection completed : Date:
The evaluation of the project outlines submitted in the HAW-ForschungsAkzente funding guideline from the Bund-Laender programme “Research at UAS” has been completed. The responsible GWK expert committee selected a total of 61 projects based on external reviews. These projects have now been invited to submit a full proposal.
Following the first call for projects, HAW-ForschungsAkzente has received more than 300 project outlines by the end of May 2025. The review was completed in October, and the submitting UAS were informed of the selection decision at the beginning of November. 61 outlines are eligible for funding due to their very good evaluation.
In the next step of the two-stage process, the successful universities are now invited to submit a detailed application (full proposal). The first projects are expected to start in spring 2026.
As with HAW-ForschungsPraxis, the first call for HAW-ForschungsAkzente covers a wide range of topics: nursing science as well as medical and neuroscience project ideas alternate with engineering, environmental sciences, and social sciences, with artificial intelligence also playing an important role in many projects.
HAW-ForschungsAkzente is open to all topics and supports research projects that contribute to the development of new research foci with a higher risk, or to the further development of the university's research profile. The aim is to enable UAS to unlock new areas of research and thus expand their innovation base.
