New start-up degree course at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences

Flensburg University of Applied Sciences has set up a new degree course called “Start-up, Innovation, Development”. The course, which is unique in Germany, is starting in the winter semester 2025/2026. The university is thus consolidating its activities in the field of business start-ups that have emerged from the StartUpLab “TeStUp”, funded by the BMBF.

Funding and participation opportunities for UAS

Additional funding opportunities for DFG large-scale research equipment : Date: 17.04.2025 , Theme: Opportunity for participation

The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) is launching a pilot programme until the end of 2025 that opens new opportunities in Major Instrumentation funding. As part of the programme, existing major instruments can be renewed or upgraded for extended use in research. An online information event about the programme is planned for mid-May.

Women in Entrepreneurship Online Programme : Date: 28.02.2025 , Theme: Opportunity for participation

The DWIH (Deutsches Wissenschafts- und Innovationshaus) in San Francisco offers a hybrid innovation programme for female students or researchers from Germany. The “Woman in Entrepreneurship” programme is now open for applications, and the DWIH offers an information event on March 4.

Preparation for the DFG review board election in 2027 : Date: 20.11.2024 , Theme: Opportunity for participation

The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) plans to align the subject structure of its review boards with the current requirements of science for the 2028 to 2032 term of office. To this end, the DFG is accepting proposals from the scientific community until early February 2025.
