New start-up degree course at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences : Date: , Theme: UAS news

Flensburg University of Applied Sciences has set up a new degree course called “Start-up, Innovation, Development”. The course, which is unique in Germany, is starting in the winter semester 2025/2026. The university is thus consolidating its activities in the field of business start-ups that have emerged from the StartUpLab “TeStUp”, funded by the BMBF.

HAW-ForschungsraumQualifizierung: Projects selected for funding : Date: , Theme: UAS news

In March, the GWK expert committee responsible for the Bund-Laender programme Research at UAS selected a total of 23 projects for funding in the HAW-ForschungsraumQualifizierung funding line.

Successful start-up funding at UAS: StartUpLabs register more than 600 Kickstart teams : Date: , Theme: UAS News

More than 600 Kickstart teams were formed since the first StartUpLabs at universities of applied sciences began operations in March 2020. Many of these teams have now successfully developed their ideas into start-ups.

In August 2024, the federal and Laender governments have issued four new funding guidelines for their joint funding programme Research at UAS. These new funding instruments aim to strengthen research, profile development, promotion of young researchers, and internationalisation at UAS.
