HAW-ForschungsPraxis: Outline selection completed : Date:
The evaluation of the project outlines submitted in the HAW-ForschungsPraxis funding guideline from the joint programme of the Federal Government and Länder (federal states) “Research at UAS” has been completed. The responsible GWK expert committee has selected a total of 44 projects based on external reviews. These have now been invited to submit a full proposal.
By the end of November 2025, a total of over 320 project proposals had been received. The evaluation process is now complete, and the universities that submitted proposals have been informed of the selection outcome. Within the limits of the available budgetary funds from the Federal Government and Länder (federal states), 44 projects were selected based on their outstanding evaluations.
In the next step of the two-stage process, the successful universities are now invited to submit a detailed application (full proposal).
The selected papers cover a wide range of topics, from quantum sensing and climate adaptation strategies in urban areas to the current role of children's and youth organisations within the school system. A diverse array of disciplines and research questions are represented.
HAW-ForschungsPraxis funds open-topic research projects that are developed in close cooperation with partners with practical orientation. The aim is to further strengthen the transfer of knowledge and technology between UAS, industry, and society. The funded projects aim to develop practical solutions and put them into practice.
