HAW-ForschungsPraxis: Outline selection completed : Date:
The evaluation of the project outlines submitted in the HAW-ForschungsPraxis funding guideline from the Bund-Laender programme “Research at UAS” has been completed. The responsible GWK expert committee has selected a total of 46 projects based on external reviews. These have now been invited to submit a full proposal.
By mid-December 2024, HAW-ForschungsPraxis had received over 300 project outlines following the first call for projects. Their evaluation has now been completed and the submitters have been informed whether their outline was successful. 46 projects were selected based on their outstanding evaluation.
In the next step of the two-stage process, the successful universities are now invited to submit a detailed application (full proposal). The applications will be thoroughly reviewed before the first projects are expected to start in January 2026.
The thematic range of the selected outlines is very broad: from nursing sciences and neurotechnology to climate adaptation in rural areas, a wide variety of disciplines and issues are represented.
HAW-ForschungsPraxis funds open-topic research projects that are developed in close cooperation with partners from the field. The aim is to further strengthen the transfer of knowledge and technology between UAS, industry, and society. The funded projects aim to develop practical solutions and put them into practice.
